Joan has just recently moved to the Cape May area from New Hampshire. Having grown up in Pennsylvania, Joan spent her summer vacations on Cape May County beaches. Since then she has been bringing her family down to Cape May for vacation every year! Now a permanent resident, she feels so fortunate to be living in this lovely beach community. She has friends and family in the area and is pleased to own a property that has been in her family for generations.
Joan has been a real estate Broker in New Hampshire and owned her own company since 1988. She brings with her years of experience dealing with all aspects of the business from the first time homebuyer to the seasoned investor. She's also managed hundreds of properties for the US Dept of Veterans Affairs. She has a deep compassion for veterans and helping them with their real estate needs. She is also proud of having been awarded for helping developmentally disabled persons to own "a home of their own". "Home ownership is such a cornerstone of strong communities and it's important to give people the information and resources they need to be able to claim their part of the American Dream."
Joan has hands on experience with rental property and second homes. She can help you navigate the intricacies of purchasing for investment. Fortunately, Cape May County is a great place to own a second home and/or vacation rental property! So if you are in the market for an investment or a first or second home she'd be happy to help you.
Joan knows the area very well and would be pleased to share her favorite places with you. You may find her walking her dog in the early mornings along the dog friendly beaches of North Cape May. Joan and her husband Jerry Hatch and their son Will live just over the canal in Cold Spring.
